Caterpillars, Cotton Pest Protection and Insect Bioassay: Don't Forget the Microbiome

The impact of standard caterpillar rearing and bioassay as well as the impact of cotton plant genetics on the microbiome were examined.  Standard practices do affect the microbiome.  The importance of the changes needs study.
