The Influence of Agriculture on the Health of Honey Bees

This presentation will discuss how the health of honey bees were affected when hives were placed in west Tennessee landscapes having different intensities of agriculture. This research was done in 2015 and 2016. Data will be presented on hive health parameters and the multiple factors that affected health including, forage resources, prevalence of parasites and pathogens, and pesticide exposure.
