The National Cotton Council Nematode Research and Education Committee annually collects data from across the United States cotton belt regarding the efficacy of nematicide treatment combinations in root-knot and reniform nematode-infested fields. The 2016 Nematode Research Project in Alabama evaluated nematicide treatments nominated by Bayer Crop Science compared to an insecticide control on two cotton cultivars. Stand, vigor, nematode density, and yield were measured and analyzed for statistical differences.
