A field study was conducted near Lubbock, Texas in 2016 to evaluate glyphosate resistant Palmer amaranth management with systems using glyphosate, glufosinate and dicamba treatments applied postemergence in combination with residual herbicides. Residual herbicides applied preplant incorporated, preemergence, and postemergence included Prowl H2O, Outlook, Dual, and Zidua. Glyphosate resistant Palmer amaranth was effectively controlled with a combination of residual herbicides followed by Engenia plus glyphosate postemergence.
