Weed Management in Bollgard II XtendFlextm Cotton with Engeniatm Herbicide on the Texas High Plains

Field studies were conducted near Lubbock, Texas in 2015 and 2016 to evaluate weed management systems using glyphosate, glufosinate and dicamba treatments applied postemergence in combination with residual herbicides. Residual herbicides applied preplant incorporated, preemergence, and postemergence included Prowl H2O, Warrant, Outlook, Dual, and Zidua. Glyphosate resistant Palmer amaranth was effectively controlled with a combinations of residual herbicides followed by Engenia plus glyphosate postemergence.
