At the West Tennessee Research and Education Center at Jackson, TN, small plots have been identify for drip irrigation research that have soils ranging from very sandy with low water holding capacity to deep silt loams with very high water holding capacity.  This is the first year these plots have been used to investigate the best timing and amount to terminate irrigation in cotton.
