Neonate and third instar bollworm and tobacco budworm were exposed to treated Bt and non-Bt cotton in an assay with upper-canopy cotton leaves.  Insecticides assayed on both types of cotton included commercials formulations of Bacillus thuringiensis, Heliothis NPV, lambda-cyhalothrin and chlorantraniliprole.  Observations were made at 3 and 7 days posttreatment and at larval pupation.
