The objectives of Cotton Premier program are: 1) provide an educational platform to transfer technology that will enhance cotton profitability in the North Region of Texas. 2) To focus programs on consistent outcome indicators and/or teaching points identified by research teams and county agents.  3)  Measure the impact at both the enterprise level and the community impact on cotton production.  The program is split into 8 focused areas related to cotton including; weed pests, disease/nematodes, insects, economic risk management, harvest preparations and technologies,  varieties and pre-plant considerations, fertility, and soil/water relationships.  Agents in North Region cotton counties are asked to select one of these focused, educational areas and develop programs with multiple educational methods and deliveries.
