Experiences with Fall Armyworm in 2014: Never Say Never

Populations of fall armyworm, Spodoptera frujiperda, were unusually high in 2014. Significant levels of injury from grass strain fall armyworm were observed on Bt cotton during the early season in some situations.  Additionally, significant levels of boll injury from corn strain fall armyworm were observed during flowering period on Bt cotton. Scenarios and solutions will be discussed.
