Palmer Amaranth Integrated Management Model (PAM): Demonstration of the Framework and Seeking Stakeholder Inputs

A decision-support tool is being developed to guide integrated management of Palmer amaranth in cotton-based production systems. The model incorporates Palmer amaranth biology and economics of different management options, with a particular focus on soil seedbank management. This tool is being developed in Microsoft Excel® platform for ease of use by extension personnel. The model framework will be presented and suggestions for improvement will be sought from diverse stakeholders.
