Performance of XtendflexTM Cotton Germplasm in Oklahoma in 2014

Monsanto’s XtendFlex cotton trait provides tolerance to dicamba, glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.  After trait deregulation, it is anticipated that several varieties will be available for sale to producers.  Multiple Deltapine and Americot/NexGen germplasm lines were evaluated at the Caddo Research Station near Fort Cobb, OK in 2014.  Commercial control entries, plus XtendFlex lines were compared under center-pivot irrigation.  Yield and high volume instrument quality results from these trials will be presented.
