Field studies were conducted near Lubbock, Tx in 2013 to 2014 to evaluate preemergence and postemergence applications of pyroxasulfone formulations for Palmer amaranth control in cotton. Effective control of Palmer amaranth was achieved with both preemergence and postemergence applications. Some cotton injury resulted with preemergence applications. No injury was observed from any postemergence treatment.
