My presentation will focus on the newly designed Spee-D-Flow 2.0 Overhead Seed House and the Spee-D-Flow 2.0 Hopper / Door Conversion for existing overhead seed houses. These products virtually eliminate the systemic problem of seed bridging and the associated risks that personnel have been infamously known to take in their efforts to dislodge seed from overhead hoppers. The design reduces seed trailer loading time by 50% or more, which provides a quantifiable return on investment for the gin. Further, this design provides a highly efficient method of loading seed from flat storage houses, by pneumatically conveying seed into overhead storage houses. Trucks are loaded far faster with this new overhead seed house design when compared with other flat storage loading methods.
