During the last 3 years, 2011-2013, Texas cotton producers in the High Plains and Panhandle regions have experienced difficulties due to varying degrees of drought.  Results from several large plot irrigated cotton variety research trials have provided information on an annual basis to assist area producers in selecting varieties that have performed well under these difficult environmental conditions.  However, results from these annual studies have yet to be combined.  Therefore, performance results from select varieties will be compiled and analyzed across locations and years to identifiy top performing varieties that have continued to produce under the varying degrees of drought experienced over the last 3 years in the Texas High Plains.
