The recent rise in cotton prices has prompted some growers to consider growing cotton following wheat harvest. Although some agronomic research has been previously conducted, several questions remain regarding proper management of cotton grown following wheat production such as: the effect of nitrogen application rate and application of plant growth regulators on double-cropped cotton. Therefore, this research was initiated to determine the effect of nitrogen application rate and plant growth regulator application on double-cropped cotton growth, development, and yield.
