Residual Herbicides and Engenia™ Efficacy in Bollgard II Xtendflex™ Cotton

Field studies were conducted in 2013 at three locations in the Texas High Plains to evaluate Palmer amaranth and Russian Thistle control in Bollgard II XtendFlex Cotton. Residual herbicides including Prowl H20 and Outlook were applied in a system with Engenia applied preemergence or postemergence. Excellent weed control was achieved with Engenia postemergence and residual herbicides improved Palmer amaranth control.
