Yield monitoring systems for cotton harvesters have been successfully used on picker harvesters for many years. Yield monitor use on stripper harvesters has been limited due to operating environment issues which lead to decreased accuracy. A microwave based yield monitor was introduced by John Deere for use on stripper harvesters. This work evaluates the accuracy of this system.
