Cotton Irrigation with the Crop Water Use Program on Three Soils

Since 2010, the University of Missouri has been testing a crop water use calculator delivered by cell phone. In 2013, the program was modified to include a daily balance of soil water deficit.  Three irrigated cotton fields with different soil textures were used to conduct field validations.  Test locations were Clarkton, Portageville, and Hayward, Missouri.
