Greenhouse and field trials were conducted in 2013 to assess cultivar reaction to infection by target spot disease, caused by Corynespora cassiicola.  A procedure for inoculation and assessment of disease in the greenhouse will be reported.  Data from these greenhouse trials and evaluation of field experiments including the Regional Breeders Testing Network and Cotton Variety Tests will be discussed.
