Glyphosate resistant weeds have caused a shift in the weed control porgrams for cotton producers in Arkansas. Although the Liberty Link system has been in use for the last few years, it is slowly being adopted on farms in Arkansas and the state's cotton producers have been asking what the best way to use this new system is. Two fields that were part of the Cotton Research Verification Program were planted into Liberty Link varieties this year as a way to verify the profitability of using the Liberty Link system and the effectiveness of using Glufosinate in a weed control program.
