Evaluation of Farmer Applications of Topguard (Flutriafol) for Cotton Root Control in the First Section 18 Exemption Year

Flutriafol fungicide, brand name Topguard; received a Section 18 exemption labeling for the control of cotton root rot in Texas cotton during the 2012 season.  The fungicide was applied to thousands of acres  at planting in several regions under very diverse cropping conditions.   Evaluation of the fungicide use in this first year by farmers in Texas will be presented.
