The impact of early season infestations of spider mites on cotton growth and yield was evaluated.  Plots were infested with two-spotted spider mites at fourth and sixth true leaf, and at squaring. It is expected that treatments with earlier infestation dates and those with longer infestation intervals will result in greater yield loss.
