A mustard trap crop was planted adjacent to corn and soybean to attract tarnished plant bugs to a field research site in Washington County, Mississippi.   The mustard was mowed when the corn was tasseling and the soybeans were at early bloom stage.   The NI8 strain of Beauveria bassiana was applied alone and in combination with novaluron to the corn and soybean in an attempt to prevent subsequent movement of tarnished plant bugs to cotton planted between the corn and soybean plots.   Resulting impacts on tarnished plant bug densities and damage to cotton will be presented.
