Novel Approaches Used in the University of Arkansas Cotton Breeding Program

Novel approaches for improved yield efficiency (using yield components and host plant resistance trait) and fiber quality (using a selection index and bract trichomes) will be discussed.  For each trait, some novel approaches which are being used in the University of Arkansas Cotton Breeding Program will be shown.
