An experiment was conducted for two years on a five acre field that had soil EC levels (based on Veris measurements) ranging from <1 to >8 (milliSiemens m-1). Cotton was grown in strips across the field with preplant N levels of 0, 30 and 100 lb N ac-1. Normalized difference vegetative index (NDVI) was measured several times up to first flower and yields were determined at the end of each season.
