Texas Root Rot (Phymatotrichopsis omnivora) Control With TopguardŽ Fungicide

The state of Texas was granted an emergency exemption Section 18 for use of TOPGUARD® Fungicide for control of Texas root rot (Phymatotrichopsis omnivora) in cotton in 2012.  This paper will review the results of the Section 18 and summarize research results from studies designed to further optimize disease control.  The studies primarily evaluated various at-planting soil application methods.
