"Control Algorithm" to Optimize Seed Cotton Drying in a Cotton Gin

Special algorithm designed to optimally control the moisture of seed cotton. The system which comprises multiple moisture, temperature and flow sensors in combination with drier controllers performs to minimize the consumption of fuel (natural gas) while maintaining desired moisture level. The installation is being tested for efficiency under varying moisture conditions. Tests description and results are presented.
