Understanding the electrokinetic profiles of nonwoven cotton blends has allowed us to apply nonwoven cotton to the mechanism of fluid transport necessary for successful incontinence materials. By understanding how hydrolase enzymes can be placed on nonwoven cotton profiles in the selective design of decontamination and antimicrobial forms of cotton are possible.
