Subsurface drip irrigation trials were conducted in two locations to evaluate responses of Acala and Pima cotton to irrigation levels ranging from 40% to 100% of estimated evapotranspiration during specific growth stages, with studies done at sandy loam and clay loam soil sites.  At one location, variable nitrogen applications were also made to determine responses to N ranging from limiting to likely excess under drip irrigation.
