Race 4 Fusarium (Fusarium oxysporum vas infectum) has become a more widespread issue affecting cotton production and management in the San Joaquin Valley of California.  Factors thought to impact spread of the pathogen will be discussed in this presentation. A wide range of field and greenhouse screening efforts have been conducted to evaluate cultivar differences in resistance or tolerance to this pathogen, and recent results will be reviewed.
