Irrigation initiation and termination timings for cotton have been questioned for many years.  This study focuses on the appropriate growth stage where irrigation should be initiated in the Mid-South delta region of the cotton belt.  Another focus of this study was to evaluate the relationship between irrigation initiation and termination.  It was hypothesized that irrigation may be terminated earlier if started at appropriate timing.  The results of this study are a compilation of data over a four year period.
