The harsh growing conditions experienced in the Texas High Plains in 2011 resulted in below average cotton yields under irrigated production systems.  Irrigated variety demonstrations were conducted to compare performance of several commercially available cotton varieties.  Parameters measured included plant stand establishment, days to cutout, various plant mapping parameters, lint and seed yield, and fiber quality.
