Spatial Temporal Analysis of Tarnished Plant Bug (Lygus lineolaris Palisot de Beauvois) Sample Counts

Sweep net samples were collected from noncrop sites (field margins, road sides, water ways and woodlands ) at the Delta Research and Extension Station Stoneville Mississippi.. Sample sites were georeferenced with Geographic Positioning System (GPS).  Sampling started in March and continued through September at weekly to monthly intervals.  Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and statistical analyses  indicate that while temporal variability was very inconsistent, spatial variability was remarkably consistent.
