Increasing nitrogen rates while adding plant growth regulators continues to be evaluated for Midsouth cotton even in the wake of declining acreage.  Excess growth can result in problems with insect control, boll rot, defoliation, and excess vegetative growth.  This oral presentation will lokk at the most recent efforst to reduce plant growth regulator rates while maintaining yield and profitability.
