Evaluation of Crop Safety and Enhanced Weed Control with FierceTM Herbicide in Conservation-Tillage Cotton

Fierce Herbicide is a pre-mix of flumioxazin and pyroxasulfone and will soon be labeled in corn and soybeans.  Other potential registrations include cotton and peanuts.  This poster will show data on crop safety and enhanced control of Palmer amaranth when Fierce is applied pre-plant burndown and layby in conservation-tillage cotton.  The goal is to provide cotton growers with another tool for control of Palmer amaranth while reducing the potential for PPO resistance.
