On-Farm Evaluation of Wireless Soil Moisture Sensors for Irrigation Management

This presentation will focus on experiences using Decagon soil moisture sensors in a commercial cotton field during the 2011 growing season.  The presentation will include comments on system dependability, ease of use and accuracy of sensor readings.  Soil variability in determining where to locate the sensors in the field will also be addressed.
