Cotton and peanut are grown in fields for approximately 150 days leaving a good portion of the year available for growing cover crops, winter grazing, or grains.  Our research in cotton, peanut bahiagrass rotation shows that cattle grazed on small grain in the winter and early spring can have a positive impact on the following cotton crop in regard to yield and nutrient recycling.  Results from the last 3 years will be discussed.
