Tarnished plant bug (Lygus lineolaris) is a major pest of cotton particularly in the delta region of Mississippi. Research was conducted at the Delta Research and Extension Center located at Stoneville, Mississippi to evaluate Diamond (novaluron) applications to suppress tarnished plant bug populations in cotton. Efficacy and yield data were recorded and results will be presented.
