Leaf spot disesases such as stemphylium, alternaria, and corynespora have gained attention over the past few years in cotton production.  Leaf spot diseases are causing concern among growers with the potential yield loss in affected fields.    In the past is has been considered minor importance.  In this study a research plot was established to assess the efficacy of managing foliar disease with a fungicide.  On preliminary data it appears that a well timed fungicide application can help manage corynespora leaf spot.
