A comparative description of six cotton germplasm lines released by the University of Arkansas in 2010 will be presented.  These lines vary with respect to yield, adaptation, yield components, fiber properties, and specific morphological and host plant resistance traits.  The six lines include three lines (Arkot 0008, Arkot 0009, and Arkot 0012) that were derived from crosses of an Arkot line with a commercial conventional cultivar and  three lines (Arkot 0015a, Arkot 0015b, and Arkot 0016) that were derived from crosses of different Arkot lines.  These lines provide new genetic material to public and private cotton breeders.  Use of the lines should provide a broadened the genetic base of materials adapted generally to the Mid-South and specifically to some other regions.
