Cotton Response to Residual Nitrogen Following Corn Production

This oral presentation will will discuss recent evaluations of cotton response to residual nitrogen following corn production.  Multiple N rates and application systems have been evaluated in corn.  Some of the se systems have included N rates in excess of the the required N for optimal corn production.  This study was designed to look at possible carryover of N from a previous corn crop and the effects of annual rainfall on N transformations.
