Five cotton cultivars were selected and planted in the green house. On the day of flowering (0 days post anthesis), individual flowers were tagged, and five developing bolls per cultivar and per replication were harvested at different days post anthesis.  Cellulose development and organization are investigated and the effect of cultivar and the developmental stage are elucidated.
