FR cotton composites were manufactured via, carding and thermal bonding. Carded webs were bonded via two different methods namely through-air bonding and hot calendaring. The LOI for the samples did not show large difference, however, blend composition, method of bonding and fiber length showed the influence on burning mechanism of samples.
