A survey was made of the developmental pilosity of fourteen hairy leaf lines obtained from the National Collection of Gossypium Germplasm, subset Mississippi Obsolete Variety collection.  The lines selected were classified as very hairy to pilose.  I will report the 2 major types of leaf trichomes, i.e., glandular vs non-glandular, and the increase quantity and complexity of the non-glandular trichomes on the mainstem leaves from node 1 through 15 (only leaves at odd numbered nodes were counted).
