Rapid commercialization of new varieties with new technologies into the market is forcing growers to make variety selections more frequently and with less yield data.  The objective of these trials is to provide timely and unbiased cotton yield, quality, and economic information for producers on new and emerging varieties and technologies.  Large plot variety trials containing core varieties were planted at various locations across the Coastal Bend Region of Texas to compare the varieties.
