Performance of Commercially Available Technologies of 2nd-Generation Bt Cotton On Bollworm in SC

Efficacy trials comparing the performace of varieties of Bollgard, Bollgard II, and WideStrike on control of bollworm were made during the 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 growing seasons in South Carolina.  The effects of heavy bollworm pressure on boll damage were compared across the Bt technologies, and dramatic differences were observed.
