PHY 367 WRF, an Early Season, Root Knot Nematode Tolerant Variety from PhytoGen Cottonseed / Dow AgroSciences

Dow AgroSciences and the Phytogen Seed Company, LLC  have released an early maturing picker variety, PHY 367 WRF, that contains the Widestrike^® and Roundup Ready Flex^® traits.  This variety was developed by Dr. Mustafa McPherson and his staff at the Phytogen Research Station in Leland, MS.  Growth, maturity, yield, and fiber quality data were taken on this variety in 2009 at numerous internal and university variety trials.  This variety was released based on its early maturity and root knot nematode tolerance and has demonstrated a high yield capacity and excellent fiber quality characteristics.  It was introduced primarily for regions where root knot nematode infestations are significant.
