Glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth continues to plague cotton producers.  Research has shown that both cover crops and moldboard plowing can reduce Palmer amaranth emergence during early season cotton development.  Studies were conducted integrating cover crops and/or moldboard plowing into Roundup or Ignite based weed management program.
