The objectives of this study were to 1) Refine the Clemson algorithm for variable-rate application of nitrogen in cotton production utilizing plant NDVI and soil electrical conductivity (EC) data; 2) Compare the Clemson algorithm with two other algorithms developed for southern USA; and 3) Develop and test affordable equipment for site-specific application of N to cotton crop. This presentation will cover the results of 2009 field work.
