This paper addresses the policy and physical structure of cotton production and processing systems in Central Asia.  This important production region, while small by U.S. standards, represents an important competitor for U.S. cotton exports.  Our descriptive piece should be helpful to anyone wishing to learn more about Central Asian cotton production and policy.
